This Is Oxford Street Event

Yesterday the West End Teams supported and policed the launch of “This Is Oxford Street”

This was the first test event for the future pedestrianisation the most famous shopping street in the world and one that plays a vital part in the UK economy.

Aside from some fantastic and positive community engagement, the team also found a 4 year old missing child who was returned to their parents.

With the announcement of the additional 80 Police Officers posts for the West End, moving forward you should see an increased uniformed presence in Oxford Street area from your local West End teams.
